I have applied a keen eye for blending cultural trends, the right people and emergent industries to create dynamic new businesses in Cable TV, Internet and currently mobile media and marketing services for local and national companies.

I was an associate publisher and for three startup magazines in New York. I helped brand and position these magazines in the marketplace through promotions at conventions and trade shows, advertising and special events. Some of my advertisers included Revlon, Tiffany, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and many others.

I became Advertising Director of Cable Networks, (then owned by 3M). I educated clients and ad agencies on the value of using Cable TV and showed them how to advertise their message to audiences in local, regional or national markets. I did this by creating unique campaigns tying television to print, in-store promotions, events and cause related marketing. Some of my clients were: Smith Barney, Calvin Klein, American Express and many others.

Cable television and print media were a perfect segue into the early days of the internet where I founded Cyberland International in 1994. I developed seminars educating advertisers on how to use the web and integrate it into their existing marketing campaigns. Superbowl, AT&T, to name a few were my first clients.

I’ve built a following on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks. I curate content on twitter aimed at thought leaders, business and social media professionals, journalists and others. I cover emerging technology, everything social and the exploding mobile industry. This enables me to continually stay abreast of what’s going on in the marketplace. I have made some wonderful relationships that have given me access to insider information and to brilliant and innovative people who are creating amazing new businesses. In addition to this, I have built a vast network of professionals over the years in different industries this along with my expertise allows me to bring value added knowledge and resources to my clients and help startup companies meet the right investors to bring them to market.
