If you’ve noticed, there are about 10 well known celebrities in social media and we’re looking to create more thought leaders with new ideas. We believe in the beauty of collective brainstorming so we invite you to tell us your thoughts on a hot topic we will post each month. We can all explore and together come up with different perspectives to provide more clarity, create new ways of thinking and doing social media campaigns.
Our hot topic for this month is: Do you feel trust is dying in social media? If so why? If not, why not?
We feel that many people do not know how to use social media. Social media is about being social, making relationships with our clients, customers or end users. Too many people are rushing to make the sale and give their pitch – this is a turnoff. It is important to engage these people to have conversations with them to find out what they need and work with them to find ways to give them what they need where they consume your products, services and information. Know your audience, focus on providing value, build trust and communication and profits will follow.
What do you think? What is your experience in this area? Do you have any ideas or suggestions that would provide a new opening for thought and strategy we could all explore together?
